Batch consistency in fragrance sourcing

In flavours and fragrances, a creative decision is easy to defend. A scent that differs between lot 12 and lot 48 is not. Most batch variation traces back to sourcing, well before the formulation stage.

Every aroma chemical and essential oil we distribute is checked against a reference profile at receipt, in addition to the certificate of analysis. If a lot is within specification but differs from the reference batch, we flag it before it is dispatched.

This adds a step to intake. It also protects the supplier relationship: customers see a consistent product, and any deviation is raised by us first.
